No Slouch Socks
Note that this knits up much faster if you know how to cable without a cable needle. I’ve omitted heel and toe instruction because I always ignore those sections of a pattern in favor of my own heels and toes. I used a *Sl1,K1* heel and a wedge toe for this pair.
Right Sock:
CO 60 sts. Work K2P2 rib for desired cuff length.
Row 1: *K2, P2, C4F, P2*
Rows 2-4: *K2, P2, K4, P2*
Dividing for the heel, I moved my stitches around a bit so that the following 34 stitches were on the instep needle:
P1, *K2, P2, C4F, P2* (repeat 3 times), K2, P1
I knit the heel with the remaining 26 stitches.
Left Sock:

Row 1: *K2, P2, C4B, P2*
Rows 2-4: *K2, P2, K4, P2*
