Green Day Cardigan
Green Day Cardigan
This child’s cardigan features an 8-stitch cable alternating with a twisted stitch rib which pop beautifully in Dale of Norway Heilo, a hard wearing wool perfect for kids’ knits.
Although each piece is knitted flat then seamed together, the body could certainly be worked in one piece and the sleeves knitted in the round to minimize seaming.
**NOTE: This pattern originally appeared in Yarn Forward No. 13, June 2009. I have made no changes from the original version aside from converting some terms from UK to US notation.
This pattern is available as a Ravelry download for $5.00.
